Arizona Takes Another Step Into Medical Debt Regulation with Air Ambulance Bill
The governor of Arizona has signed a bill into into law related to air ambulance services that includes provisions and restrictions related to how debts incurred for this type of service are collected. The new law, House Bill 2179, is a broad update to the state’s emergency medical services framework, but it carries meaningful implications for how air ambulance services are regulated, billed, and ultimately collected on.
